JOB OPPORTUNITY: Workshop Engineer – Clevedon, Bristol Depot

Broughton Plant Hire & Sales is looking to expand our workforce by recruiting a full-time, permanent Workshop Engineer to join our workshop team at our Clevedon depot.

🕒 Working Hours: 7:00am – 4:30pm

🔨 The Role

You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing our hire fleet, including:

• Press fitting equipment
• RIDGID threading machines
• Drills, grinders and other small tools

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair hire equipment to ensure it’s safe, fit for purpose and ready for hire
• Carry out pre- and post-delivery inspections
• Identify and document faults or defects
• Keep accurate maintenance and testing records
• Work in line with company Health & Safety policies

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Experience in small tools repairs (essential)
• Plant hire experience (desirable, but not essential)
• Good knowledge of hand tools
• Hard-working, physically fit and self-motivated
• Strong team player with a can-do attitude
• Punctual, flexible and reliable
